She immediately started chemotherapy to reduce the tumor's size and was able to have the tumor removed by the amazing doctors at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York. While the largest tumor has been cleared, Giovanna is still in treatment and has tumors that remain in her liver that are closely monitored.
