    Purchased this for a gift for a 3 year old and she loved it! Best of all the mom loved the soft (non scratchy) fabric and that is was machine washable.

    Rating So happy with this Little Mermaid dress!
    As stated in my other reviews, this was a gift for my granddaughter. She's 4, quite tall for her age, so I bought the large based on measurements my daughter provided. It fits great, only just a bit too long, not enough to prevent her from having lots of fun playing dress up. This dress, top and bottom are very well made and beautiful!

    Rating lovely dress but sizing off
    My daughter was really happy with this dress and wore it to Disneyland yesterday for her birthday. She said at one point that she just couldn't believe she was dressed like Ariel. My complaint is that the top is really, really short. I realize that Ariel is a mermaid and therefor bares the belly- but the middle of the shirt is still an inch and a half above my daughter's belly button while the skirt fits perfectly. If I had ordered a size up-the skirt would have been too long. I chose not to size up because I ordered a large dress last time and she is years away from fitting into it. Again- she loved it and will be ecstatic to have a dress up 'that shows her tummy' but I will not be letting her where it out without a shirt under. The stretchy fabric was great for taking the dress on and off throughout the day.
