The Princess Shoes are true to street shoe size. However, if your child's foot is wide, we recommend ordering a size larger, your child may need more width in the toe area. Also note that ordering up a size for room to grow is a good option. The straps fit in such a way that if the shoes are a bit long at first, they aren't bothersome and can be worn longer.

Although my daughter has not played with them yet (Christmas present), I know she will love them. They are really good quality for dress up shoes (as good as some of her regular shoes!) The little heel is perfect - not too big, but still a heel so my daughter will feel like a princess or a "big" girl!
