My own little one wore her Cinderella dress to Disneyland and the princess lunch at Ariel's Groto.  She was comfortable all day and never got too hot in the California weather.  And I couldn't help but notice that she was treated a little extra special by the Disney Cast that day, calling her a princess and giving her a slight curtsy.  It seems the only trouble we had with the dress up plans that trip was deciding which dress she would wear.  We ended up taking 3 to the hotel so she could decide at the last minute!  To Princesses on Ice, she wore a Red Cloak with her Deluxe Snow White Dress and had a magical time.  It was so much fun dressing her up, she nearly talked me into wearing an adult costume.
